Default [REQ] Extended UI with fuel and crew bar

Guys, is there a moder who can build up a UI with 2 extra bar, like you can see in the images here?

I wasted hours and hours to try to build such a simple additinion to the stock UI, but I can't find any way to do it, so I make it a request. Or at least, can somebody explain where to look and how to do it? I badly need these things on the stock UI, a quick acces to the crew commands and a fuel and energy indicator.

1. Is an official request, not only an attempt to mod.
2. Since patch 1.2 the compass is not anymore a missing feature (to be honest, I don't really like the official one.. is too big).

If no moder have time for this, at least point me in the right direction.. where the heck are the interface files in the data folder?

Have you tried TheDarkWrath's New UI's????

He has a SH5 enhanced version which is similar to stock SH5 UI, and it has the Fuel,Batery,CO2 indicator bar as in your first post to this thread.

Yes I did. I respect TDW and his incredible amount of work and passion put into his mod. But that UI is just way to much for me. In every game, no matter what's the title, first thing to do it to minimize the UI because I play only with shortcuts and I want to see the action not an overloaded UI. It's a habit from WoW where as a raider I need a clean and minimal UI filled only with basic buttons and macros. I love the stock UI just because is simple and light with dark and neutral colors. No more those ugly and huge dials from the old SH3 and the commands are easy to access and simple.

For example, instead of clicking through a bunch of icons to give a simple "reveal all" command to the sonar man, I would like just to click on his icon and then push 3 or 4. Fast and simple. If would be possible, I would love to play only with the keyboard/shortcuts for max speed commands. Clicking with the mouse is just a waste of time.

So in the stock UI I really miss only these 2 things.. a fuel indicator for when I sail like a mad at max speed under the water and a quick crew command panel. The most annoying thing is when I have to crash dive and I can't reach the sonarman or the any other part of MY sub. So I just have to wait until the dive is complete to give orders to my retard crew :/

I would really apreciate any help on this or at least some indication to where to look for the UI, so I try again to build up this thing.

TDW's NewUI SH5 Enhanced (the default) doesn't have ugly and huge dials.

Ow, sorry and thank you very much kylania. Seems like TDW made my dreams come true. Can you be so kind and point me in the right direction as it seems I fail to find that topic with this UI version?

It's just the default install of his mod really. This post has a few screenshots of how to install it. Basically just copy the main mod and one of the TDC mods over and enable them.

The officer bar at the bottom is the same as Integrated Orders from SH3, basically giving you access to all "functional" commands over your uboat. What is NOT included is the dialog options and special effects like pre-heat torpedo and Total Revealing or those things. To be honest though, I don't even use those abilities ever. heh

I wouldn't be surprised to find the officer bar you were asking for in this thread as an option in an upcoming TDW NewUI build though. That's a pretty neat feature!
