i bought sh3 brand new when it was first released an never liked it that much and found it too challenging ( i was 11). about 3 weeks ago i was digging through a box of old games and thought I'd give it a second chance. so after patching it and playing for 3 weeks i decided to get a mod. i Google sh3 mods and it brings me here.
so what mods would you suggest? |

![]() I'd try one of the supermods such as GWX, NYGM or WAC. At the risk of being accuses of being biaised I'd recommend GWX3.0 ![]() |

Rather than answer that, why not give them all a spin....you'll soon come to your own conclusions.
One thing to bear in mind (dependant on your system specs) GWX and NYGM are not as resource heavy as WAC. |

11? God I am old. ![]() Like most things in life, there is no "best" mod out there. In the SH3 Mods forum, each of the mods has their own thread where you can read up on what each mod does. The key is to chose the mods that add what you like to the game, with out taking away anything you like. Some of the "super mods" try to do it all, and for good results. However, there are also some smaller mods that offer specialized modifications so you can pick and choose to enhance your individual gaming enjoyment. One thing that is fer sure: You gots to have the JSGME program. This helps you manage your mods so you have more control over which ones are loaded and unloaded. This really helps in troubleshooting when one of your mods is not acting right. Good luck with it, and welcome aboard! ![]() You will find a lot of smart people here who are willing to help.
