Default Tragedy vs Comedy

Mel Brooks once said: "Tragedy is when I cut my finger. Comedy is when you walk into an open sewer and die."

This is comedy by that definition I think.

Muslim woman strangled by her burkha in freak go-kart accident

A woman wearing a burkha (file photo). A Muslim woman has died after her burkha became caught in a go-kart she was driving
A young Muslim woman had died after her burkha became snagged in a go-kart.
The 24-year-old woman, who has not yet been named, died a terrifying death today when a fluttering part of her burkha became caught in the wheels of a go-kart she was driving near the town of Port Stephens, north of Sydney.
The Muslim clothing the woman was wearing flew back as she sped around the track and part of it became entangled in the go-kart's wheels.
She was strangled in a second and crashed the vehicle.
I LOLed.

No, I don't think some random woman should die, but wearing baggy clothes on a go-kart? WTF? I'd laugh if it was some American kid wearing too baggy pants, too.

This would have to be the most politically-incorrect Darwin Award, but a totally deserved one

I could just see that happening at work.

I have been unfortunate enough to order food from morons who dont know any better than to wear their pants around their knees, so yes, some of them do have jobs... but they lack the intelligence to work with complex machinery, so i guess thats why so few of them die in those sorts of accidents.

I mean, how hard could a fry cooker be to operate???

submerge basket in hot oil.

push button

wait for beeping sound

remove fries from oil

I can. None of them have a job because nobody hires an employee who walks around with his butt hanging out. It's amazing how many of my younger students don't understand this.

That's exactly what I was thinking.

How the hell do they present themselves at a job interview?

Being in college i see a lot of that baggy-wearing pants. Even as a 21 year old I don't understand it.

I believe I dress reasonably nice, albeit I usually leave my shirt untucked, but who doesn't nowadays?

I made the mistake of pouring cold water into a pot I had just cooked popcorn in.

I was talking to a girl whom was my neighbor (a party line believe it or not) at the time.

BOOOM ! "Holy smokes what was that!" she said. It was loud enough to be heard next door inside her house.

I was very lucky to not have been severly burned. So dont try this at home

About the original story yes I saw this earlier. I could not gather what if any kind of supervision was present but its ridiculous that this was allowed to occur.
