Default Silent Hunter 3 problem, SIMDATA.DLL

Hi guys, im a proud player of Silent Hunter 4 and now also 3!
The problem is however, when I've installed SH3 on my computer, and trying to play it, instantly a message pops up and says that I don't have "SIMDATA.DLL" or something else, I reinstall the game but the problem isn't solved! I have reinstalled two times and now my AntiVirus-progam warns me that a Trojan horse is hidden in SIMDATA.DLL file!

This is really annyoing, I have 2 computers, I play SH4 on my Vista computer and now SH3 doesn't work on my XP computer! I really love these games and I want to solve this problem right now!

Can anyone might fix this problem? Add me to MSN, becouse Im rarely logged into this site, im only reading sometimes!

my MSN: tomppa__92@hotmail.com

Or if you answere quickly right now, im might gonna read it hehe,
I hope I can start to play my dear SH3 soon as possible, I freaking love these games!

Happy Hunting Everybody!

SORRY FOR CRAPPY ENGLISH, I' HOPE YOU ALL UNDERSTAND!

Rename your current version of SH3 then insert your game disc and click on the repair option.

When the second installation is finished you can copy and paste the file from your latest game installation to the original.

You could also look here:

Go to the folder called SH3, it should be in C\ProgramFiles.

Rename it to anything you like and when you 'repair' the game won't be able to locate a folder called SH3 and will therefore create a new one with a freshly installed game.

To rename the SH3 folder, right click on it and select rename from the menu that comes up. When your finished with the repair, right click and change the folder name back to SH3.
