Yep, you are talking about Bernard's room, aren't you?

I know where it is, I just don't remember how to get there.

Is there anything to this concern?

I have been wondering if the interior of the VII sub has been modeled properly. Of course, it wouldn't make sense that, if things are modeled to scale, and if the interior is fitting snuggly inside the outer hull, then I can't see how they could model the interior wrong.

Ah, unless they perhaps removed a little bit of the interior to make it fit inside the boat hull.

As far as have seen so far, it's been modeled as accurately as possible, and given that from one boat to another, there were variations just as there are with any ship and depending on the year built, the manufacturer and shipyard built in.
I think as fine a job as can be accomplished has been done.

And yes there is no access to the ship's heads but it is of no concern as it isn't really needed is it? I mean what could be simulated? animated in there that would be appropriate to see in the public's eyes.

However the doors to the two heads are there, and are located at the forward end of the bunk room just before the torpedo room. One on the port side, and one on the starboard side of the room right before entering the torpedo room. The doors though do not have a round window as it appears in Das Boot, though I dont really see the purpose of a window unless of course it was to prevent anyone from doing something in there that would be considered inappropriate. The window providing an offcer the ability to visually observe anyone in there.

I just wish I could pull the curtain shut in the Kaleuns's bunk. The radio man is starting to freak me out.

I gather that it isn't a missing compartment as such. Merely that the seating area in the officers' quarters has not been depicted.

It should appear as in Flakmonkey's mod for SH3 :-

Yes the wardroom would be a nice addition, espeically since we have the ability walk though and could actualy get to it. Im hoping such an addition will become availble either through a patch or mod, and also hopefully there will be the option of sitting in it as with other areas such as the captain's bunk.

And yeah Steam, closing the curtain would be nice too. Though there are others onboard that gives me the creeps more so, like the Bosun.

I know - the Bosun kind of bothers me too. He steals a bit of food from the cook if you stand in the kitchen and watch. He also gets a little scolding from the cook. LOL

Yes and too bad this sort of thing happens in silent movie fashion, no voices just gestures.

Easy to operate head on Silversides. And what's this! A place to wash your hands with fresh water!
