My request to someone who is capable to do this, or to instruct me to do this, is to decrease the flow noise across the sonar head.
The reason is (for me at least) at speeds like 1/3 Ahead and more, the flow noise that I receive while listening to the hydrophone is too high. Obviously at speeds like Ahead Full, Flank or standard or even Slow should not have no flow noise. But to me, if your travelling at ahead 1/3 submerged (1-2knts on average). Shouldn't the flow noise that you receive while listening to your hydrophone while travelling at 1/3 be low enough that you can actually hear without having to go all stop? Cheers, Krauter
