My ETW steam game now no longer play in offline mode

Today when I logged into steam steam was saying that it was updating platform. And after that I can't play ETW in offline mode?

Is steam moving toward SHV DRM?

I can play the game in online mode only and whenever I tried to go into offline mode this error would pop up

Is it just me?

Edit: Oh well it was a false alarm after checking file integrity something was redownloaded and steam now will connect to the internet when we try to play offline before switching to offline mode.

I havent had that problem..yet.but i wish they would do another patch for ETW.still a few annoying glitches.

Me too, but seems unlikely with NTW released already.

Actually, they already announced another patch a little before NTW was released.

For a moment I thought steam was adopting the SHV like DRM...I would REALLY HATE IT
