Thank you UBI

Unbelievable, just sank a fleet carrier, on my way out of the docks, and the server crashes. Thank you UBI.

Indeed, should save if it was a Ubi server problem.

..he probably LOST his progress (due to DRM/internet connection failure); otherwise he wouldn't be posting about it ?

Yes the game auto saves, (well its meant to), but this time, and the last time it did it, i lost the whole mission and had to start from port again.
Sooo, i did lose the mission, its only a lost mission, not the end of the world, but annoying all the same.

Had the same thing when I toggled the sync setting on the launcher, but didn't restart it... don't know if restarting it would have made a difference though.

As if the permanent online thing isn't bad enough. No, they have to introduce a system, no wait, "service", that potentialy reverts your saves as well.

Lets face it the game is bad enough with all the damned bugs to fix, the least they could do is drop the OSP crap for single player mode, talk about frustrating, and I don't even own it! but I do so feel for you guys!

Eh? I'm perfectly happy with it. The game, that is. Could do without OSP, but it's actually been less of an annoyance than expected.
