How would you rate this game at the moment

I think it would be interesting for those who have the game to rate Silent Hunter 5 on a scale of 1 (Epic fail) to 10 (Fantastic)!
Before voting please think seriously about the rating you give.

Been thinking about that for the last two or three days. The best thing i can say, is I prefer the PTO and fleet boats. I spent the last few years modding just that in SH4. I have alot of time, and effort invested in it all; and yet, find myself wanting to play Sh5. It has its good points, it's bad points, the usual bugs, a few inexcuseable bugs, a hell of a lot of potential, and a lead anchor stuck fast that prevents it from leaving harbor. (at least for me)

Can't we just call it Beta?

I gave it a 7 for what seems posible with it. Maybe i should have given more thought on the "How would you rate this game at the moment" .

Just rateing it for what it is right now 4.

I gave it a 3, SH5 feels like a public beta that we actually paid for...
Has great potential, but sadly, they shoved half of the features out the window and Bork them. It is the same with the DRM... We are the paying beta testers...

When it is good, it is pretty good, when its bad its very bad. Between 8 and a 4 depending on the day lol. I guess a 6 but with a very high chance of a 8 in the future.

At the moment v1.15 (without mods) I give the game a 3:
+1 graphics
+1 TDC (I actually like the new one because we can enter data manually)
+0.5 for the interior (although you can't do much so I now wish they just made that free camera for the SH3+SH4 interiors)
+0.5 for the recognition manual (too bad the pics are too small and there's no data shown)

The score should increase with each patch as more problems are solved.

You know what the weird thing is? This is one of the most stable games I own, hasn't crashed once. Despite some missing commands and features, I'm progressing through the campaign without any game-breaking bugs. I'm getting enough tonnage to fill my objectives, so even the smaller issues aren't holding me back.

7 out of 10. 8 if they can resolve the more pressing issues (add the missing commands, tweak morale system), 9 if they can get all the planned features implemented and most bugs worked out, and a solid 10 once the modders had their go at it.

Keep in mind that a 10 in this case doesn't mean 'perfect', but 'fantastic', i.e. the best SH to date.

I gave it a 7 even though I would have liked to give it more!

I'm sure after 1 or 2 patches it good go to 9 or 9+.

I gave it an 8, it's a great game with even greater potential.

I suspect that a few mods is all that I need to enjoy this unpolished gem for a long while.

When i first got it, i felt it was like a 5 or a 6.

After considerable amounts of playing i give it high 7.

Voted a 5!

And that because there are sooo much bugs, missing things... half baked things and reliquies from Sh3/4...

To finish Sh5 for a release the devs at least would need about 6 months.. probably a year!!

The results might be more intresting if there is an identical poll in the SH3 forum about SH3.

I voted for 7. Fix up the bugs and end those CTD's and it'll be a straight 8. I enjoy the Game more than I enjoyed SH3 Vanilla. The moment when the first supermods surface, this will be my new queen.
