Nice link, looks like lots of choices as far as the East Coast, which would be great on this end

As long as I can afford to travel there, and it's not too summer-like hot (which I already get home), I'm ok with every place in the US you can think of. In fact, I've been wanting to go there for some time now, I just hope I don't have to make too many flight connections, which would expand the flight price.

Just so you guys make an idea, I spent about 1000 euros for the whole trip. 450 for the flight (going and coming back), about 250-300 for the hotel, and about 250 for local maintenance (food, museum fares, transportation fares...)
I practically burned through all of a months salary, thankfully, the month is almost over, so I won't be long in this situation of low-money.

So that said, I really hope it's cheaper in some way.

Cheers

Chicago:
U-505 sub
road trip to USS Cobia sub in Manitowoc, Wisconsin
great city

To complete the requirements, each site needs at least one local sponsor.

Just a consideration:

Baltimore:
USS Torsk
USS Taney
USS Constellation
Lighthouse Chesapeake
Fort McHenry
Take a tour on a Duwk (yes, you do go into the bay in the DUWK )

Hooters

1 hour from Washington:
Hazy Air and Space Museum or any museums in DC those from afar would like to visit. Go to the mall and see the WWII memorial. Really, the cost to get there is all that it runs you. The museums are free as well as all the momuments. Get Jim over here so he can see how DC cops handle it....they look the other way.

For San Francisco also add the USS Hornet which is practically across the bay, in Alameda. Within reach, as far as I understand.

HAWAII During their winter slow season. Lots of Naval stuff there to see.

A break for our members from colder climates.

I bet wifes and girlfriends will want to come to this SubSim meet.
