...and presumed lost while on patrol. I was tooling my way down to Tokyo when ComSubPac decided to send me north to do a photorecon of a harbor. I started heading North and had cranked up the time compression to 1024. While I was waiting, a small convoy came into visual range. One of the escorts managed to pop me from long range while I was slowing down the sim. Made a real mess of me and I had to surface due to chlorine gas.

Lol, that sounds fun.
Interesting to note that historically, Japanese gunners were able, on occasion, able to accomplish feats of extreme long range accuracy!
