Voice Activated Commands (VAC)

Can anybody tell me how to install/use Voice Activated Commands (VAC) with SH3 as there are no instructions with with Trial version, have download the trial software and the sh3 profile.

hi steve,

launch VAC, then right click on the task bar icon and choose "load profile" (point to you r sh3 profile) and also choose turn "VAC on" (there will be a black symbol when you load a profile and a blue symbol when you have VAC on. I have an extensive VAC profile for SH3 if you would like it, I also adjusted the Commands.eng file in SH3 to be able to use many more combination commands

sometimes there are hassles involving setting up your microphone, you must have the microsoft driver installed. Also I highly recommend training the driver to recognize your voice. All of this is there when you open "speech" in your control panel

Thanks Brett for your quick reply,I will give this a try at the weekend. I have Microsoft English Recognizer v5.1 and SAPI Developer Sample Engine installed. I am using a Trust 5.1 surround sound Headphone with a Microphone Attached instead of a microphone.

yes that's the one. open control panel then speech and you will see train profile there. you should be good to go. btw i tested a few different recognition software and i find VAC to be the best. shooter 1.6.4 is good too (and free) but i had a lot of issues playing ARMA2 with it.
