I finally got Fleet Command installed on my XP machine
The problem is it won't start up ... when it goes to start the open screen comes up and then closes after several seconds and then nothin' ... I am runnin' it in Windows 98 compatibility mode I know ya can run this on Windows XP can someone who has the knowledge please help out here ... I would appreciate it ![]()

Which version of Fleet Command are you using? Jane's or Naval Combat Pack? Sonalyst's Naval Combat Pack version runs fine on Windows XP with no need to run compatability options.....at least in my experience. If you're using the Jane's version, experiment. Don't give up after trying only Windows 98 option. Start there first. |

I have the Janes version up-dated and I have tried all the compatibility modes with no luck ... all the same thing it starts with the openin' screen and then closes after a few seconds ![]() I have read about a glide wrapper helpin' out and I went and found one but I can't seem to get it to work with that either ![]() Maybe I ain't got the glide wrapper installed correctly I have no idea thats why I need help ![]()
