Default Boycott

I think the straw that broke -my- camels back was the post about sh1 features, that have dissapeared. What the hell ,,,now they want player to connect to ubi before playin? dont think I've ever been to ubisofts website and refuse to be forced to go there just to play sh5 next thing you know there will be a soda commercail during a torp attack I've decided to NOT to PURCHASE this sim for the full price I'll wait a while see what happens and --if--((BIG IF)) I purchase sh5 it will be dicounted by then WHY SPEND MY HARD EARNED $$ for this,,,, does not make sense when sh3 will be good enough for a few months..

BOYCOTT FULL PRICE let it be known we aint gonna take this crud

Meh, not many games left where you do not have to connect. Seems to be the trend. Now, when is the game available?

Well, I aired the idea a while back, when the VII ->1943 "feature" was revealed, because we need to send a signal, but subsim official policy ain't boycut, which is understandable.

But still, having the option of sending them a signal that not everything is accepted would be nice.

But if not boycut, then what?

I was tempted to suggest something similar my self.

Especially since Ubi has boycotted Subsim Review by not providing subsim a review copy of SH5.

A boycott is fine by me. Some official Subsim support would be nice,
but I don't expect that much.

Boycott is such a big word...

I just won't buy SH5 under the current circumstances. I mean, it's not as if SH5 is some kind of an extremely important part of my life. In the end it's just a computer game. And I already have far too few time to play those I already have, not even to mention those that I'll buy in the next couple of months. I mean, I've just recently started another Falcon Allied Force campaign, and I seriously need to put some more time into Steel Beasts Pro PE. And I'll get Mass Effect 2 tomorrow. And I want to do another playthrough of Dragon Age. And play Rise of Flight. And my Yankee Air Pirate CD is scheduled to arrive this week.

And there's always SH3/GWX for my uboat fix.

ok guys, we all knew it had to be done so i have to close it down

if anyone wants to discuss this idea please keep in mind you cant promote or call on others to "boycott" or "not buy" UBI products but you can speak on your own behalf and about you and your own actions.

i hope this helps avoid closing another thread or giving infractions out, we are a very free and open forum but we dont allow "boycott" threads or posts
