I just did a clean install and installed gwx 3.0. When I started a new campaign in 1939 and left harbor my sub had the rotating loop antenna up. Is that supposed to be there? How do I make it go down?

I think it stays up. I know there is an entry in the GWX manual about it, somewhere near the beginning.

Im not sure whats going on but I dont have any radar in 1939...do I? I think its the direction finding antenna or something like that. Its a loop antenna and it spins around. Im not talking about the hydrophone or whatever it is that is mounted on the deck. I havent played the game in years so I dont remember how to work everything but Im sure that antenna wasnt there before. It stays up and spins even without a radioman or sonar operator.
maybe something new with GWX 3 that im not familiar with?

At least I have it on my VIIB, and it's been there from August 1939 on. I'm playing GWX3, don't recall if it was there in stock. |
