Default jsgme file comparison question

I ran a file check with jsgme, and it found a lot of files that weren't supposed to be there.I think it was my using operation monsoon that caused my problem.I was wondering how I might correct this,or will I have to re-install everything. Thanks in advance for any and all help.

I hope this helps. The more extra files you have the longer this takes. There may be other ways but I go down the list and delete those files from the games data folder.

I have the original zip file for all my mods. If I know which mod put those files in your games data folder, I go to the games mod folder and delete that mod because it will be missing the files it inserted in the games data folder, then go to the original mod folder I have stored elsewhere and reapply the mod.

I ALSO MADE A BACKUP COPY OF THE ORIGINAL GAMES DATA FOLDER RIGHT AFTER INSTALLATION, AND HAVE IT PARKED ELSEWHERE. If you have too many extra files in your installed games data folder to manually delete, JUST DELETE THE WHOLE FOLDER, and copy/paste the data folder from your original install you have backed up somewhere.

IN THE CASE OF MISSING GAME FILES, I just copy/paste the missing files from a backed up data folder and "voila."

I suggest to all that after installing the game, take a minute and copy the games data folder and hide it somewhere, you WILL need it at some point.

If you have backed up your games data folder just replace it. I find this the easiest in the event you are faced with a "long" list from JSGME.

Hoping this helps you.........Doug....
