Nice but should be at the bottom of the list.

Would be great, but what's gonna happen if you're attacked by aircrafts?

I would assume that you are referring to the anti-mine tactic of the crew being outside the hull and kneeling on the top deck while departing or returning from a patrol?

Lack of clarification in the original post leaves much to be desired.

If that is what you are referring to, I voted completely against this. Frame rates are bad enough in a harbor without adding something else for the computer to figure out. Keep the focus on gameplay, and if we need more eye candy, make it something relevant to the focus of the game.

Sailing in and out of a harbor is painful enough as it is without throwing some more sprites into the mix.

I think he just meant having the crew standing at attention when entering and leaving port, or having men handling the lines.

I clicked the second option, "live without it". I would like to see it, but your options cross over a little.

IMHO, I think that crews on deck was mostly done as propaganda-type photo-ops and not some kind of standard procedure... unless perhaps The Lion himself was going to be there dockside... correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe it was only ceramonial to have crews-on-deck.
