O Class Sub

I have built a US Navy O Class Submarine.
But i didn't find a painting scheme i the I-Net. Can anyone helps me out?

The sub is for testing a little game engine.

nice job on the model!
but I would think the sub would be painted in a light grey upper hull and a matte red under, like you have there.

on old photos the upper hull looks white and the rest looks black? Is that possible?

yes. But the red below the waterline was a special non-corrosive paint. which is why you usually see it. if this shade of red wore off, I'm sure the crew would repaint the lower areas with the only paint they had en masse. dark grey/black/

Here is the progress of today. Lightly grey, with dark gray on the upper tube and matte red under. I think this is what i saw on the drey dock photo in black/white.
I need the half day for finding out the details on different photos.

Here are two screenshots out of our Game Engine.

What do you think?
