Default Finding the YAMATO

I have played this a number of times and with the U-Boat Msn add on I have yet to see the YAMATO. Just curious if anyone has any ideas to where to hunt this beast at?

If you're playing stock 1.4/1.5 they are randomly spawned as a superbattleship in task forces. If you're running RSRDC, they follow their real life deployments.

just recommending its a good idea to prepare yourself for when you do find her in your campaign.

you should try practicing sinking her in stock running the Palawan Passage or Last targets single misssions so you get an idea of how hard she is to sink. this will allow you to refine your attack to better handle the situation in your campaign.

in most cases you need to fire every torpedo (fore AND aft) or she wont be sunk. this means that your setup, angle, and position are as important to geting a kill as the number of torpedo hits you get.

there are endless stories of people running out of torpedos and watching it sail away from you with ease

Last nite we gave her 8 fish set to 15 Ft. I think 7 would have done her in. Sunk like a brick, all hands, no rafts. in Palawan Passage.
