Default Can I use RSRDC mod?

I have just the downloaded version of SH4 without the Uboat expansion, v1.5 I believe. My question is, with just the basic game V1.4, can I use this mod? Thanks. Ted.

Default RSRD

Just a question RE: RSRD ~ I see several options available on the thread for download, and they all say SH4 v15. I have only official patch 1.4 loaded on my game. Am I missing something, or do I just download all the files?
I am reading this thread as my guide http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...98&postcount=1. I guess the V15 thing is throwing me off. Again, I have just the stock SH4 without the uboat add-on.

Also, any suggestions for other mods that may be work with RSRD? I am currently using only 2: Capt. Midnights CBS sound mod (nice), and the dark background mod for recog manual. Thanks again. Ted.

Rsrdc no longer supports v1.4

Default that sucks

So unless I have the add- on I can not use this mod? Or am I missing a patch somewhere?
If this is true, any other mods out there that might help my cause? Thabnks, Ted.

Default sorry me again

Stupid question: Does one need the expansion to get to v1.5? I only see a v1.4 patch for the game. I would pay the $9.99 for the add-on, but am just curious at this point. Cheers

The only stupid question is one that goes unasked.

Yes, the expansion is the only way to bring SH4 1.4 up to 1.5. The expansion is well worth the money...so what are you waiting for? Go buy it!

Default Welcome aboard

I'd recommend that you play the game for a little while prior to installing any mods. That way you'll get familiar with the overall gameplay and you'll better appreciate what the mods bring to the table (i.e. more challenge, more historical authenticity etc).

I use TMO and RSRD myself but I know others prefer RFB and RSRD. With the JSGME software it is easy to switch in and out of those mods.

Have fun.
