Disk space for saving?

Read the threads on problems not getting your saved games to load.When it comes to saving so that i do not loose all that hard work i put into a patrol,i save constantly.I am on patrol 4 and my saves are up to #35 i.e(cv1,cv2,cv3,etc.)when i save with #cv36 and go back to load it up,it will not let me,but #cv35 will.My question is.Is it possible that i do not have enough disk space for the save files to save,so by either deleting other saved files for that patrol or freeing up more disk space would do the trick.What do you guys think?
