Is it possible? To date the most anyone (to my knowledge) has been able to do is 3. 2 scopes and a radar mast or 2 scopes and a snorkel. Ideally I'd like to see about possibly 4. 2 scopes, radar, and snorkel. Thoughts?

Ok, I'll explain what I would like to do in more detail. I want to be able to raise and lower 2 periscopes, a radar mast, and a snorkel. With Anvarts SD radar mod that opened up the possibility of a rising/lowering radar mast. The problem I see with adding a rising/lowering snorkel into the mix is key commands. So the solution to this would be what? What other key commands could I use to keep each mast seperate?

@ETR:
I've been experimenting with the same since I would like to be able to aqcuire targets by either esm or radar without having to surface. I found it impossible to add any more extensible objects, BUT, what I did instead, although it might seem like a bungler method, was to substitute the obs. scope with a radar mast, or more like clone them so that the game thinks that it's hoisting a periscope, but in reality a radar is lifted above the waves. It works, I can use the radar now while submerged at a low depth. As for the radar warning I simply attached the radar warning antenna object to the attack periscope so that this mast now works as both attack periscope and ESM mast. It's simple, it's not professional, but it looks decent and it works ![]() |

.....oh by the way....the snorkel is easily added without having to do any of the previously mentioned...but you are right, the problem is not really adding an extensible object, the problem is that there are no key commands available for them.....this game is great, but it's rather conservative and stuck in WWII, like with the crush depth and the maximum submerged range issues

Was that on a German or American boat? I've had the idea to add it to the 688i mod but havent given it too much serious thought yet.

I haven't come across anything for the US side, so I would have to import it from the German files. Seems like a daunting task in itself.

![]() I'm really surprised that the US side does not have any RW equipment at all....in reality they were really advanced on the electronics area ![]() |

Well if nothing else there's a task to consume more of my time for 688i version 5.
