Default Take a break, relax: a round of Breakout

The old simle ideas for some games still are the best. One of these was the ancient genre of Breakout-games. At times, I like to play around for two or three levels with a good clone of it. But many aren't. That decides the quality of a Breakout game, is the "physics", means: does it make a difference with what part of the paddle you hit the ball, does it chnage the reflection angle? does it make a difference wether you strike with or against the movement direction of the ball?

I stumbled over this one, which is an older game, but I think it mayb eis the best breakout-clone I've ever played. The physics are what I want them to be, and there are plenty of amusing little surprises. Graphics are solid, but not en par with the latest in game technology, but that's not what counts.

This is version 1.2, which is free, and a full version. Be advised there is also a free but limited version 2 around (unlocking it in full costs you money), but just visiting their homepage sent my browswer into nirwana, so I advise caution. Version 1.2 will already serve you very well!

when I first realsied what it was about Santa Claus jumping around, I really had to laugh.
