Default Running Decks Awash?

Am I just imagining things or is there a keystroke command for running on the surface with decks awash?

I could've sworn I remember reading something in the past about the ability to order this surface running setup.

Not sure if this is available in stock or RFB, but at one time TMO had a "Radar Depth" keystroke attached. I just usually set depth to 35' or so. Works fine for me.

Before the advent of the U-Boat campaign, "snorkel depth" was modified to either give you radar depth or decks awash. You can still modify the command, one way or another ... your choice.

The semicolon is set to radar depth in TMO and RFB, although Ducimus turned into a deep dive button and it may be set there now for all I know. I changed it back to 40', radar depth. Decks awash is 30 to 32 feet. There is a hair trigger in there between those two that will allow you to run decks awash on batteries or decks awash on diesel and that's why I always select my decks awash depth manually.

I have experienced some problems with running decks awash.
Just using it, is not the problem. But afterwards, the game seems to behave in some weird ways.

Once the bow depth rudders wouldn't come out anymore after running d.a. Another time the CO2 status would increase while submerged but wouldn't decrease anymore when surfaced.
Then, afterwards, when I tried to dive the normal way to PD, the boat would sink rapidly underwater and would only surface very slowly when doing the emergency ballast blow out.

Those issues happened all only once, but every time another one. Most of the time I could fix it by saving and reloading, but it ist still some annoying behavior.
Anyone else with these problems ?

I've always done it manually,so that I could run the diesels.
