Map Labels 1.3 [New Version updated 29 July 15:15 GMT]
New map labels... 75+ new lables for Straits, Gulfs, Islands, Passages around the Pacific theatre. Made to be identical to existing labels on the game map. Can be used with JSGME ( I think)... ![]() Solomons, Philippines and Sunda islands included, you can also find Bungo Pete's hunting ground more easily! ![]() Many small passages and straits added. New Version (1.3) Download link: http://www.speedyshare.com/977303658.html Have fun etc, Jace P.S If you think of an important label that needs including, please post it here.. Very small islands are not worth it as the label will much bigger than the island and will look a bit silly - while the alternative of reducing lable size has other problems. Large Islands, Gulfs and Straits can generally be added easily. Not Ports, these are added via other layers, eg. Truk, though an Island group is a port in Tater's layer, and so is easily visible and doesn't need an extra label. UPDATE 1.3 - Correct a typo (Bougainville - oops!) added Caroline Islands, Morotai, Quelpart, Ceylon and more.. fixed scaling problems with very large lables. In 1.2 I also added another 10 lables, including Kurile Islands, Karafuto, Admiralty Islands, Bay of Bengal, Tsugaru Strait and changed some of the older lables too.. Thanks! ...certainly adds to the "Immersion Factor" when you can use a chart that's labeled accurately!

Brilliant, I've wondered if something like this could be done. Really adds to the immersion to know the names of the area's you're sailing past. Previously I'd had an atlas next to the computer. Thanks Jace

Awesome work.
I will tweak my campaign stuff so it doesn't duplicate anything that you've done better. <S> tater |
