could someone redo the sen toku textures?
see the picture here: http://gallery.filefront.com/keakar/163018/ here is the stairs: http://gallery.filefront.com/keakar//1189641/ the crane on the front prevents the plane from launching without clipping off its wings and why does it have a ladder on each side and lifeboat hanging over the side? i didnt even think subs had lifeboats, it looks terrible. I think the crane folded down to launch. Keltos would know for sure. And maybe the boat had something to do with the planes when they returned. Maybe a refuel if they were going up again...just guessing here. I can't do the 3D stuff but I was able to push some of that stuff down into the sub without changing the vertices count so it would go back into S3D. As it is now periscope depth is about 900 ft. Exaggeration of course, but not by much. ![]() Also if someone works on it, there are no torpedo doors on it either. It had 8 forward and no stern tubes if I remember right. The plane can just be taken off, that is a separate object. It would be inside the hanger when you are using the sub anyway. Part of the reason nobody ever did much with it, it never actually did anything in the war. It was built so late. It went on, I think it's first mission to the Panama Canal and the war ended before it got there. Peabody

here is a nice picture of a model of the I-400
http://gallery.depili.fi/v/pienoisma...geViewsIndex=1 it shows the forward crane folded down and stowed in its normal position as it should be unless the plane is being recovered and a much better looking paint job but i dont know if the paint scheme is authentic. PS - i added another picture showing the stairs better |
