Freiwillige The Old Man Join Date: Mar 2008 Location: Phx. Az Posts: 1,458 Downloads: 24 Uploads: 0	type IX's with a cut back fore deck? Got me a coppy of Squadron signals U-Boats in action recently. They talk breifly about cutting the forward deck or removing it all together to increase diving time. It seems that the standard deck was so wide that it trapped air and kept the nose up longer than with the cut back decks. Anybody have any pictures or more info?
