Gday all, well a few on and off years in the making... i present to you....

Anzacmicks das boot sound immersion V2
Version 1 being many moons ago hopefully this is an improovment.

Although not a GWX2.1 endorsed add on, it has been thoroughly tested with no ill effects.
I love the film, I love the game, but i dont speak german...so i ripped the english dub and sifted through the full uncut movie dozens of times to find as much as i could that was game related and relevent.
Pretty much all sounds have had a bit of spice put thru them.
Various sounds from the movie and other sources have been grabbed, rearranged and remixed to suit the game wavs either not heard or just plain boring, all scratch built of course.
The movie doesnt say everything the game requires, so, the best effort to fill the holes has been made, along with some trickery...
All new torpedo spoken firing orders, general atmosphere, depth groans and a new submarine general living and mood condition ambience utilizing the pretty much non used music system. Although not always in context or order, there will now be an ambience to the sub provided via the music system it is a lowered volume ambience only...background chat and onboard scenarios from das boot.
Lots of new stuff

There is an optional .sdl is also incorporating for compatability the latest mods that include additional sounds.
eg LRT+2.01.7z (longer repair times) & LifeBoats_Debris_v2_A.rar
It also includes some extra sounds included by myself and some sound distance adjustments.
Although not absolutely required for the general sound mod included to work, i believe it adds an additional something for the audiophiles to saviour.

All JSGME ready, but at a hefty 245 Mb i had to do the 1 folder speech trick, you will have to fill the additional folders copy n paste style.

If anyone uses it and finds mistakes or obvious room for improovments please suggest so on here....critique and suggestions always welcome

I dare say you were burning the candle long into the night when developing this mod Thank you for your hard work and personal time spent getting this up and ready I will download and check it out, I'll give you feedback

Yes he did work long and hard on it. I have his original version, and while I prefer the German version myself, it's almost certainly even better than his first one, and it was great!

No matter if it's not in German if you take a dekko at the latest European Union directive:

The European Commission has just announced an agreement whereby English will be the official language of the European Union rather than German, which was the other possibility. As part of the negotiations, Her Majesty's Government conceded that English spelling had some room for improvement and has accepted a 5-year phase-in plan that would become known as "Euro-English".

In the first year, "s" will replace the soft "c". Sertainly, this will make sivil servants jump with joy. The hard "c" will be dropped in favour of "k". This should klear up konfusion, and keyboards kan have one less letter.

There will be growing publik enthusiasm in the sekond year when the troublesome "ph" will be replaced with "f". This will make words like fotograf 20% shorter. In the 3rd year, publik akseptanse of the new spelling kan be expected to reach the stage where more komplikated changes are possible. Governments will enkourage the removal of double letters which have always ben a deterent to akurate speling. Also, al wil agre that the horibl mes of the silent "e" in the languag is disgrasful and it should go away.

By the 4th yer peopl wil be reseptiv to steps such as replasing "th" with "z" and "w" with "v".

During ze fifz yer, ze unesesary "o" kan be dropd from vords containing "ou" and after ze fifz yer, ve vil hav a reil sensibl riten styl. Zer vil be no mor trubl or difikultis and evrivun vil find it ezi tu understand ech oza. Ze drem of a united urop vil finali kum tru.

If zis mad you smil, pleas pas on to oza pepl. Zen ve vil rul ze vorld!!!!

always love new sound etc for realism and immersion....im currently using a mix of sailor steve, thomsens and pouls sounds.....but yours sounds excellent.

i know the hours and hours of work this must take so my hat off to you mate
