Default SUN without halo? Hmmm......

Hello

I return to the game after long break, now I have Add-On and newest
Trigger_Maru mod. I noticed, that SUN in my game have no halo (blur) effect,
looks like white circle. I have Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT.

There is something wrong with my Nvidia settings?
There is something wrong with misc ROW files embedded in Trigger_Maru?

Thank You for the answer and have a nice weekend

Not now, I'm at work :-)

No, I don't like this effect, too much contrast, looks very unrealistic.

I remember this kind of issue with SH3, and ATI or Nvidia graphic cards don't remember.

Thank You

You should reconsider enabling PP filters and check out the view. From my understanding, the modders have adjusted the brightness/contast setting and have optimized their mods using PP filtering and suggest enabling it. Otherwise, it may look too washed out now.

Had same problem with 8800, try setting antialiasing to 4x multisampling and turn off gamma correction. No idea why but worked for me.

You might find that Gamma correction might interfere with the sun halo 'mask'.
Is your screen very bright ?
