Default Somebody's been scribbling on my map!

Went to bed last night after saving the game with some Xs left on the map from some earlier tracking.

Fired up the save game now and somebody's been writing on my map! One of the Xs has a U under it, all the others have TC.

What the heck do these mean? I wish I had received even the crappy manual of the earlier release.

I've seen similar weird artifacts on my map after reloading a game. A bug or as AVG says, Bernard. Take your pick.

That's probably part of the "name your map markers and edit the names"-feature that is mentioned in the manual, but isn't included in the game for some reason.

Does it really say that?? I never read the useless thing. Wonder if it can be worked in.

If I remember correctly it was a carry over from SHIII. It wasn't implemented in that sim either....CH

We assume you've never been in the Navy or a Viking might be your glitch?

Heh! I've been boarded, me mateys!

I always loved that version. As an adjunct to my day job, I run puppets for kids safety education. So yes, I stick my hand up a puppet's a$$ for money...

But no, I was never in the Navy. I was in a real armed service - the Army.

(Let the wars begin!)

P.S. And to be fair, if I loved the Army so much, why is a submarine game my favorite?

Maybe they can work in the ability to draw on the map during those long stretches between contacts? :hmm: Sometimes Bernard's mad scribblings are worth keeping.

:rotfl:

That's something for SH5 for sure, although I doubt my map will include drawings as good as that.
