Two war patrols in Dec/Jan and Feb./Mar/Apr. and now it's May of '42. I'm on my third patrol in a Porpoise Class Boat (sank 30k and 38k on the first two patrols) and mostly what I am seeing is small stuff; mostly small cargo ships of 2000-3000 grt range and the largest target I have sunk is a 10k modern tanker.
Don't get me wrong- not complaining. It isn't a free-for-all with dozens of troopships whizzing past for me to kill. I love the realism. Not too many planes, either. I managed to escape two G4M's that seemed to know I was hanging around, but none since the first patrol. I like the campaign with RSDC sending me to different areas; the boys back at Op's seem to know where the bad guys are, and I suppose that completing objectives is a major part of my renown thus far. I don't want or need to be told where to go; do I just follow the war? I have a pretty good working knowledge as to what happened where and when. Once my torpedoes start exploding when they should, and I get my Gato Class boat, I'm sure my totals will improve. EDIT: Just found my answer in another thread. My instincts were correct. Follow the war!

Well discussed subject. Take a look at the RSRDC thread in the mod forum. Ship traffic is different in RSRDC but it's there. Also there is a different map to use when using RSRDC. Sorry, I don't have a link but try a search for it. Or maybe someone can give it to you here.
