Default Attack vs. Observation Periscope

So, what's the big difference other than on is in front of the other?

Is there a 'real life' difference that is not made clear in the game?

Is the idea that the attack periscope the captain uses and his XO uses the other?

What gives?

That is an amazing article. Thank You! I think I'm going to need counseling when I get fully into this and forget I'm really not on a sub.

I think I'm gunna get depressed when I come down off this high.

Default Thanks Deepiron

That second link in particular is a handy little reference for newbies with regard to AOB and Stadimeter etc.

Good links, thanks again.

If your using TMO, you'll notice visibility is better at night using the observation scope. Ducimus modded it that way, as it should be.

The obs scope also had a horizontal stadimeter, to measure AoB.
