The reason for this topic is just my wondering..

From the seventh century Croats live in this part of Europe(check the map). It's been that way for over 1300 years. One of the youngest kingdoms in europe. From 11th century(after being one of the stronger european kingdoms) Croats were often swindled, conquered with false promises and own foolishness. We guarded europe from the invasion of turks for 500 years, never been conqueured by them, pope called us the wall of christian fate. Lost more than 75 percent of our country during those wars, more than million were islamized and slaved. Most of the 16.th century Croats did that without almost none help from european nations. Never got any help from european nations, not even this last war. Even crusade armies rampaged here.
Italians hate us ever since Venice lost its first ship in 10th century. ALways wanted a piece of our shore. Serbs hate us, always wanted their greater serbia and because of religion, ever since Croats wanted shared country with them. They will never give up on that, which is sad.. Hungarians always wanted piece also. Austrians.. Germans.. French.. etc. Half of Bosnia hates us because of the more the same reasons as serbs. Most balkan nations don't like us because we are more "european" than them. Europeans don't like us because we are balkanians and savages to them.
Croats fought wars for Pope, Byzantium, Hungary, Italians, Germans, French etc. 3000 Croats died in the mos precious serbian battle on kosovo. Even though Serbs won't admitt it, it is historical, documented fact.

The only more disliked or hated nation in the world must be Israel.
And Croats never went into conquer wars, never wanted something that was not theirs here from back then in 9th century!?

And after all those long centuries of misfortunes and bad times, bad rulings, good/bad decisions, little slices of country lost here and there, and only 3 or 4 millions of us left, when we are dancing as the papa bear tells us, we get this..

That a little pisshole in the snow uses the whole bloody eurepean union to succeed in their fascist and expansionist plans!?

I am often proud to be Croat, but more often because of stupidity of my countrymen throughout history and the facts I stated here, I hate it.
I don't have nothing against the turks, never will have anything because that was almost 150 years ago, but isn't it ironic that one small country, almost always connected to europe, gets such a bloody treatment and will in the end get in that bloody union later than once a great threat for the europe, turks?
I don't like european union, I wish we never get in.
But I wanted to ask europeans, how do they feel used by such a small country for their own fascist agenda? Stupid, weak..?

Argh, my bloody country, almost wish we were a bloody island somewhere far.. :rotfl:
