Default Transparent water option in dangerouswaters.ini

what is the purpose of the transparent water setting in dangerouswaters.ini file?

Changing it from No to yes doesn't seem to make any difference to the water appearance and it doesn't make it transparent either

Probably a leftover from SC. SCS products have a lot of appendices like that, left over from previous sims that have no use in the current one.

Fleet Command had transparent water. So I guess it comes from that.
