Default Solved my Fallout 3 crashing problem...

Seems ffmpeg was the cause. I made an exception for Fallout 3 to bypass its audio engine and so far, no crashes in a while.

I'll post back if this fixed it completely.

Hope that fixes it for you. I myself haven't had any major problems with the game. It does crash, but pretty sporadicly and usualy after several hours of play.

After my ffmpeg fix, I haven't had a single crash. Played I'd say 4 hours yesterday without a glitch.
