Some may already know, but for those who don't;
on the map screen, draw a line from "St. Johns Newfoundland" to the North Eastern Corner of Grid Square AJ63. 100 KM either side of that line is prime convoy territory, you can usually catch them before they start to zag on a more easterly heading in the vicinity of AJ 63.

To make things even better, the easternmost part of that route is out of the range of Allied air cover.

My last three patrols in that area have yielded contact with 3 large convoys consisting of ceramic liners, large tankers and medium tankers... but only one airplane.
Patrols spanned from about February to October 1942

If I'm not mistaken, two convoys are sailing on that route throughout the war, and one from '43 until the end.
