Loss of radar and sonar

I'm running TM 1.52 with corresponding RSRD. Had no problem but then, before second patrol, loaded sobars RFB1.5_env_grx_mod via JSGMC since it looked very good. Unfortunately my machine took a FR hit and so I uninstalled it via JSGMC. However, now I have no manual sonar or radar...ie, when I go to either station to sweep manually, neither screen is "active" - both are blank and I cannot move the sonar sweep at all; clicking on the ON/OFF switch does nothing. Now, I am not blaming sobars, but is this a known problem, or something unique? I don't want to dig into things and then find that it has happened before and there is an easy answer. Anybody give me a clue?
