Default Hey, You Just Stole 5400tons Of Mine!

I'm on patrol in July'43 near Rabaul. Just nearing dusk (one of those beautiful PE4 dusks) my radioman picks up a radar contact at long range. After some plotting, it's obvious this guy is headed to Rabaul. It looks to be a perfect setup: I'm already in position, and night is comeing!

After watching the blip on the radar screen get closer and closer, I could finally start to make out the faint signes of smoke on the horizon. Whan he is about 7oooyds away, I go to Periscope depth. The Sun is still up alittle and the sea is flat calm, so I know I'll be easier to see. My soundman immediately picks him up on Sonar. I order periscope depth for a peek. I identify him as a Medium Old Split Freighter, and he's heading on a perfect course. Down scope!! I let my soundman track him until he's within range. Up scope! He's now 3000yds and closing! Down scope!

I decide to man the sonar myself for a listen. Nothing! What theHell! Up scope! There befor my eyes is my prize in flames!! Who fired without my orders?? BERNARD!!!! It wasn't him, the poor guy. I go to external view and hear the drone of aircraft. I look around and spot 2 Liberators flying into the sunset takeing my 5400 tons with them! I truely love this game!!
