Default TMO without environmental mods? Please....

Hello

I have too many small glitches, stuttering and flashes every few minutes because of environment improvements. I need help. I really like TMO mod with latest patch (realism options, command room graphics, many improvements) but I want to try without environment graphic mods (ROW and other env. elements).

Question: Is there any way to remove Environment improvements from TMO?
Which files/folders are responsible? I made backup of all SH4 original folder, so I can change files and folders to original, but which one?

Please, can someone help me. Mayby my rig is too old for new seafoam textures and other beautifull improvements, I have no choice.

EDIT: By the way, which version of TMO should I use with U-boat add-on, because after reading of few topics I'm little confused. Mayby I made some big mistake :-(

Thank You

Stary Wuj

The current version is 162 and there is a patch to go to 163. If you still have a problem, you could also try disabling some of graphics options.

I'm confused, because: "TMO 1.7.6 is the version released before TMO 1.52, there are 2 versions of TMO 1.52 one for the U-Boat addon and one for SH4 patched to V1.4 you should be able to find the V1.4 version on Ducimus's filefront page."
------------------------------

Disabling some of graphics options is not good solution, I want this game looks at least little better then SH3. I just want to remove Environmental from TMO, if it is possible.

Thank You

Maybe send W-Clear a PM, as it is his Environmental Mod that is incorporated into Trigger, he may be able to help you with this.

You could also back up a revision or two. Install TMO 1.52. I don't beleive it includes and enviro package and if it did it was an earlier smaller version. It always worked fine for me.

TMO 1.52 is probably not compatible with U-boats add-on, and as far I remember there was
environmental mod too, of course older one and smaller.

EDIT. OK, I have an idea, in the full Trigger_Maru 1.6.2 there is a catalogue Optional Mods with "TMO_Old_Enviormentals",
I will try remove corresponding files from standard TMO 1.6.2

Make sure you de-activate your current TMO before doing this

I will check every possibility, but I remember lower framerates with some "seafoam" changes, it was long ago. I really like eyecandy, especially Your water colors, but stuttering is much annoying than lower framerates for me. With older version of some environmental files and some settings modifications (Nvidia control panel - pre-rendered frames) stuttering is almost gone, framerate is much stable.
And, with older env files there is much less fog around, was too much, too often with clean, full version TMO 1.62+patch 1.63.

But don't worry and keep cool

You can try to use the "Environmental 5.0" coverage TMO1.63, I think it might be better.

The environmental mods murder my FR compared to stock with everything full bore. From over 100 stock, maybe sometimes fropping to 70, to 70-80, frequently dropping as low as 2 with either environmental mod.

2.

Seems to be the bow wakes. Burning stuff is pretty bad, too.

E6600, 8800gts.

I'd scrub them entirely out of my RFB install, but it also changes the sensor stuff.

I try not to leave the map, and I never go on deck anymore. Stock didn't look as good, but I got to see it, lol.
