Hi folks! I have a question:
Is it possible to improve the capacity of the batteries and the speed of charging? Best regards, Nemo. |

NO, but you can change the distance you can travel on batteries with Silent 3ditor an editing the SUBS .sim file.

The capacity is editable in the [submarine].sim file.
The speed of recharhing is hardcoded. more range -> more capacity -> more recharging time

Until this can be remedied, type XXI conversions will only be partially accurate... Mine has the hydraulic torpedo reloading system (all six tubes reloaded in around 10 min) as well as accurate speeds and surface range, but it takes all day snorkeling to charge batteries (should be only 5 hours or so every 2 days) and I get all kinds of weird ranges and efficiencies at different bells while submerged...
