How to install my mod?

Fellow kaleuns,

I'm abit new to the mod business (I'm amazed I got GWX to work!), but there are so many good looking mods, I just have to install some.
I have recently downloaded the Milkcow and Lifeboat mods, however, I'm not sure how to install them. Do I just drag the downloaded folder into the Mods directory or something?
All help is appreciated!

I did a search on how to install mods, but couldn't find any, sorry if it has actually been answered.
