Load game crash bug

Hi everyone,

I've been running GWX 2.1 ok for some time now with OLC Special environment (part 1) + GUI 1.2.3.

All of a sudden I am getting all bugged saved games. They will load to completion until I can almost see the GUI and submarine interior then the game crashes. This has happened before on occasion but now I am getting it without fail; my last 5 saved games have failed. It seems I can only load my career successfully when I am in port (crashes only during patrol).

I can't think of anything that might be causing it. I am just wondering if other people also experience this bug? Is there a fix of some kind?

edit: make that 5 out of 6 last saved games. one of them (during patrol) managed to work
