I recently installed version 1.5 so I can use the new RSRDC 355, I really don't have any interest in U Boats but I do love RSRDC. I am using RSRDC 355 with patch and ROW-Pacific Enviornments 3 with the stock effects and lighter fog installed.
I was requested by THE admiral to attend a dinner party ASAP, so I saved and left my command . When I returned, it was the same day and time but it was night instead of day. The game fired off all previously expended torpedoes to who knows where (they all missed) since they were not on the attack map. The sunken ship map markers were gone and the ships were back where they were before sinking. I quickly found out that re-sinking them was a bad idea since it wipes out the previously sunken ships from the log and their tonnage is no longer recorded. I have yet to uninstall the mods and play it stock to see what happens. I find it hard to tear myself away form the game to experiment right now, since I am a recent owner and the fun factor is impossible to resist. I was wondering if anyone has had a similar experience and has found the problem. Everything else works properly and as long as I remember not to re-sink I am fine. |

Wow! I get the first paragraph ok, but :hmm: huh? This sounds completely bizarre. I've never heard of anything close to this. Is this April 1st?

You DO know when you install a new patch you can only restore a game that was auto-saved in port?

I've found a glitch as well.. At least in the Pocket BB mod, donno does this happen in nearly unmodded game. Because the game autosaves always when you're about to leave to the seas again, i've taken ONE engine specialist, i go out the sea and remember i forgot to promote my crew. I reload the game. Guess what? There is the SAME SAILOR WICH I HAVE ALREADY ONBOARD! And still the same amount of renown BEFORE i took the guy onboard.
Now i got 8 engine specialists on my pocket BB, going at 36 knots at flank speed ![]() Soo.. i got 8 cloned engineers ^^' |

Well I did start in port and sailed to Hiroshima harbor. Where this srtange occurance happened. I pulled all the mods, reinstalled the game and started from port again without any mods. Now the game does not change time or wipe out the sunken ship markers but it still restores the previously sunken ships. However this only happens when a game is restored. If I exit the game and restart everything is normal. So it is only a little strange now. I do sometimes procrastinate but an April Fools joke a month late is a bit much even for me.
