[TEC] Adjusting position of funnel smoke

Namely on the Large Modern Composite Freighter (Nagara Maru). I've tried adjusting the positon of the funnel smoke on this ship, since it is placed too far forward. However, moving the position of the funnel smoke also moves the funnel itself. The node in questin is highlighted below. Is there a way to detach these two objects so the smoke can be better positioned?

This has been attempted by quite a few. It is just this one vessel the smoke is forward of the stack. No one that I know of has been able to correct it.

I did it for the trawler I think back in SH3. To fix this you have to export the funnel 3D model and make the change to the center coordinates (0,0,0) position, then import the model. Effectively, you need to re-center the funnel. As you've already correctly realized the node and the 3D model coordinates are linked, so this cannot be adjusted by only moving the node.
