That's a nice resourse Luke, I always wondered if it was possible to have longer ship wakes modded for this sim. There's some great photos in the naval archives of warships maneuvering while under attack by dive and torpedo bombers with very long curving wake patterns.

It is, but it takes some tweaking to get it right.

Thanks for that info Luke, has anyone created longer wakes and released it as a mod? If not, what files should I be looking into in order to poke around a bit?

You want to look at the VAL files in /data/sea and /data/submarine with S3D. Might be something I look into for future RFB work.

You allso need to look at the textures found in the data/misc folder, look for all textures containing the word "wake"
