[tec] wave speed

[tec] wave speed . I looked on the the net and found that in a study of waves off japan wind speed was around 15m/sec and significant wave height was almost a constant 4 meters . So my question is how do i find the wave speed from this in knots . What other measurement do i need to know to find the speed of the wave ?
