Default One more question about the mission editor

Hello

Does anyone know how to make dynamic locations work? I've tried setting up missions with enemy groups having dynamic locations, but after a rechek I found out that they start at the exact same location.

They work as advertised. Make sure you've assigned the object to the dynamic location and that the #of objects fields and such have the appropriate values for what you're trying to do.

Failing that, I think there is a minor bug (well, not so much a bug, as something that was carelessly overlooked...) in DW that causes objects to spawn at the same DLs in successive startups. I don't know the exact details, but if Fish stops by I'm sure he could explain it in greater detail. What I can say is that the further you move back, the more likely you are to reach a point where the sim "re-rolls" the DLs at misson start instead of using the current "roll." (I think leaving the mission selection screen is the cutoff, but I'm not sure)
