Am I correct in assuming if you come back from a mission and the anchor is gone then the base was taken over by the Japanese? It happened in the Philippines and it looks like it just happened again in Soerabaji (spelling?).
The last time it happened I came back from a mission and then went to Soerabaji got a refit and waited outside the Manila harbor. I figured if the Japanese took over, that would be a good place to hang out and wait....and along come two merchant ships heading for the harbor entrance. Oh, goody easy targets, but then I noticed they had US flags. Anybody ever let you know what is going on? I get all kinds of junk info but I think it would be a good idea if Ubisoft let us know when a base is not ours anymore. I sailed into manila like I owned it and almost got sunk. Is there any way to send messages while submerged like raising an antenna like you do the periscope? Or do you have to be on the surface. I was going to transmit some warship sightings but they were too close to surface and I was out of fish. Peabody |
