Anyone else hear a song and think of alternative lyrics that could have been funny? I did one over the summer turning the Geto Boys' "D-mn, it Feels Good To be a Gangster" into a song about being a sub skipper. Posted it here, but it didn't really go off as expected. I just thought of another today turning Carrie Underwood's "Before he Cheats" into a very Trekkie "Before he Violates the Prime Directive....here's what I've got.


I fired pulse phasers into the side of his
pretty little souped-up transwarp drive;
carved my name into the captain's seat.
I took a worker-bee's laser to both nacelles;
punched a hole in all four shields.
Maybe next time he'll think before he violates the prime directive.
