The demise of U-205

After sinking a small merchant with a single torpedo, a nearby destroyer turned and opened fire. U-205 immediately went down to 60 meters and went silent. The destroyer didnt ping, it simply searched around for a while, then gave up. The u-boat rose to pariscope depth, and began taking a look. Suddenly the pariscope cracked, and major explosions were felt on the ships hull. The destroyer had spotted the scope with its search lights. Water poured in faster then the crew was able to bail it out, and the ship imploded at 100 meters. No survivors were found.

There goes my best career yet

On the other hand, I've enjoyed writing reports about this campaign (even if I didn't post half of them), so I might try my hand at writing a story about my new campaign.
